Samuel Pepys, wherein he worshipped, and is buried. Also the
burial place of William Turner, author of the first herbal in
English. Nowadays, the church of the Clothworkers’ Company, Trinity
House, and the Environmental Cleaners’ Company. It is also
the venue for the Ward’s Annual Wardmote, and its Church Hall on
Mark Lane provides the Polling Station in the event of a contested
election.
