The Beating of the Parish Bounds took place on Thursday, 2nd June. Held annually on Ascension Day, a mediaeval ceremony to reaffirm the bounds of the Parish, and remind its younger members of the extent of ‘their’ territory. This year's ceremony included the triennial boundary battle between the Ward and the Yeoman Warders of the Tower!
